Limes

  • 'Australian'

This tree has no thorns. Heavy continuous cropping. Main crop in Spring and intermittent throughout the year. Fruit left on the tree will change flavour from the traditional lime taste to a sweeter flavour. The fruit can be used in drinks and is easily peeled.

  • 'Kaffir'

The Kaffir lime is a thorny bush with very aromatic and distinctively shaped ‘double’ leaves. The fruit is rough and green with a bumpy exterior. The leaves are the most frequently used part of the plant. They can be used fresh, dried or frozen. They are regularly used in Asian cuisine. A wonderful addition to any garden.

  • 'Limequat'

This is a hybrid between the lime and the cumquat, which has the flavour of the lime but the cold tolerance of the cumquat.

  • 'Sublime'

The Sublime is a compact growing small tree bearing very juicy and versatile home grown fruit. In a large pot Sublime reaches around 1.5m x 1m, creating the ultimate decorative pot for your outdoor living area. If you prefer to plant your Sublime in the ground over time your plant could reach 3m.

  • 'Tahitian'

The glossy, evergreen foliage looks great all year round and provides a wonderful backdrop for the fragrant, white flowers and edible green fruits. As an ‘everbearing’ plant this tree can provide you with fruit and flowers throughout the year. The fruits can be left on the tree so there will always be a lime ready to pick and use in your drink! They have the strongest, classic lime flavour when green but they are at their juiciest when left to ripen to yellow.

  • 'West Indian'

The West Indian lime is a shrub or small tree. It is a heavy bearer. The fruit is small, roundish and juicy. It tolerates mild frosts.
